“Dia” Job Fair offering 8,000 jobs in Region 9 Zamboanga City

22^nd Feb (Zamboaga City). On the 24^th of February, City government and private partners have merged forces to sponsor a job fair in celebration of the Region 9 75^th Dia dela Ciudad de Zamboanga celebration. Almost 8,000 jobs from different job fields await.

The job fair will be held at Plaza del Pilar from 8 am to 5 pm as announced by Francscio Barredo, the City Social Welfare and Development Officer as well the City’s Public Employment Services Office (PESO) manager.

Companies and job recruitment agencies straight from Manila are coming to participate the one day Job Fair alon with other 17 local companies, 15 national and 6 international placement agencies.

• Other technical positions

Last year’s initiation of various job fair about four all in all has awarded Region 9 particularly Zamboanga City with the 2011 Regional Best PESO Performer hiring about 1,156 qualified applicants.
