A three-day basic IV therapy training program designed by the Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines, Inc. (ANSAP) to provide nurses knowledge about the concepts, principles, techniques and practices in intravenous access-related situation. It consists of didactics and practicum utilizing the procedure checklist as tool of evaluation for safe IV practice and demonstration of basic skills. Completion of the required number of cases qualifies nurses to become a certified IV Therapist.
