Dr. DaiWai Olson is a known assistant professor of Medicine at the Duke Department of Medicine, Division of Neurology, Duke University Medical Center. He is as well an professional clinician, extensively published author, skilled researcher and successful speaker. More than 20 years did he spent all those focusing on critical care for the passion of neurocritical care. Now, he shares his expertise in our country in collaboration with Philippine Nursing Research Society with his upcoming series of lecture on Nueroscience nursing care and nursing research. The purpose of Dr. DaiWai Olson Series of lecture comes in two fold. First is to cover new, current and developing paradigms of neuroscience nursing care and nursing research. Second is to set a venue where Dr. DaiWai Olson develops relationships with the key School/College/University faculty members of the Philippines for the promotion of collaborative nursing research projects.
The topics for this one day seminar of Neuroscience Nursing Care and Nursing Research by Dr. DaiWai Olson together with the Philippine Nursing Research Society are below.
- The nursing assessment in acute neurologic injury
- Correlational neuro-anatomy
- Evidence-based practice and neuroscience; application of nursing research to thepractice of neuroscience
- Examples of nursing research in Neuroscience.
